Statement

The major focus of my work is painting in oils. Other mediums include watercolor, pastels, woodcut, prints, drawing and mixed media works on paper.  My still lives represent a search for clarity and simplicity of form. An appreciation of seeing every day objects as extraordinary states of vision.

 

Bio

I live and work in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Recent exhibitions have included 5 solo exhibitions of paintings at the 220 Gallery at 220 West 16th Street, NYC .  Fall 2010 a 2 person show at M55 Art Gallery in LIC "State of Mind", a group show at the Scuplture Barn Gallery in Connecticut, "Art in the Landscape".  Recent Exhibition Landscapes: Exhibition at Sculpture Barn.
